I have to admit I am not a fan of UKIP, even less the BNP.
I have noticed some friends expressing support for them though. Do people think this is just a protest vote and they won't get the same level of votes in the 2015 election or do people think they are hear to stay?

People are fed up with the big three, At least these seem to have the countrys interest at heart.
If they are making them wake up ,then they are a good thing

Possibly... well UKIP is kind of self defeating though. It's mainly a single issue party and if they get their way of independence, then presumably the party will lose it's reason for existing.

An interesting point Firefox, I hadnt thought of that !!...A political party making itself redundant, that would be a first.

What about the SNP... if they get independence for Scotland, some reinvention required! Although the latest polls show it's probably going to be a NO vote.

Yes talking to a couple of Scots at the weekend interestingly both were unsure as to which way it was going to go
